In 2022, when we discovered this stone house tucked away amidst the vineyards of Condrieu and Saint-Joseph, we instantly fell in love with the place. There is absolute tranquility, views of Mont Blanc and the Vercors range on clear days, and the sight of the sun rising over the Rhône Valley and setting over Mont Pilat. The very first time we drove up the road to Le Blanchard, we felt like we were already on holiday—it had a touch of Provence about it, with its vineyards, oak trees, sunshine, and old golden-stone houses, all just 40 minutes from Lyon.
